Jaipur’s Amber will become an iconic destination – Chief Minister approved Rs 14.56 crore

Jaipur, 30 June. The state government is making continuous efforts to promote tourism in the state. In this series, Chief Minister  Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to develop Amber, the heritage city of Jaipur, as an iconic destination. Along with this, a total financial proposal of Rs 14.56 crore has also been approved for this.

As per the proposal, Rs 1.25 crore has been sanctioned for car parking work at Amber, Rs 4 crore for a musical fountain, Rs 2.70 crore for a heritage walk-way, and Rs 6.24 crore for camping sites. Being developed as an iconic destination, world-class facilities will be available to the tourists coming here. Green technology will be used along with parking, additional security, and cleanliness.

With this decision of  Gehlot, along with promoting tourism in the area, thousands of people including handicraft artisans, and artists will get employment opportunities. It is noteworthy that the announcement in this regard was made by the Chief Minister in the budget for the year 2023-24.
