A workshop on Shibori color and technique was organized by Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur under the ‘Ujala’ Self Help Group, Sarjan-2024 for Jhadol at Zanana Mahal of City Palace.
In this workshop, the Administrative Officer of Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, Bhupendra Singh Auwa said that this is an ancient art in which only natural colors are used for dyeing clothes. Which does not leave any harmful effect on the environment as well as our skin.
On the first day of the three-day workshop, the students of Maharana Mewada Public School were introduced to the method of making Shibori colors and were also introduced to the Shibori technique of dyeing.
During the workshop, children were asked to prepare colors, and clothes were prepared using the Shibori technique, in which the children showed great enthusiasm.
Seeing this art, it was greatly appreciated by the tourists coming from India and abroad, and these traditional products were appreciated.
