Three-day workshop on Tourism Policing in Jodhpur

There will be an expansion in the security and facilities for tourists

Jaipur, August 25. A three-day (from 25 August to 27 August) workshop is organized on “Tourism Policing” under the joint aegis of the Center for Tourism Policing and the Department of Tourism for the security of tourists coming from abroad in the state. The workshop was inaugurated on Thursday in Jodhpur in the presence of Dr. Alok Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of Sardar Patel Police Security and Criminal Justice University, and Smt. Gayatri Rathod, Principal Secretary, Tourism Department.

On this occasion Smt. Gayatri Rathod said that the purpose of the workshop is to promote tourism in Rajasthan and bring awareness to the field of tourism and also give information about the work done by the state government in the field of tourism. He said that the State Government intends that the tourists coming to the State can get a safe and comfortable journey to Rajasthan. For this, continuous efforts are being made by the state government.

Additional Director, Tourism Department, Anand Tripathi said that such a workshop on the subject of tourism policing is being held for the first time in the country and this workshop will give a boost to the tourism sector.

A total of 70 trainees from BSF, GRP (North), and the Tourism Auxiliary Force also participated in the workshop
