Received Silver Award at Buyer Seller Gaurav Samman Ceremony held in Delhi
Jaipur, 26 June. The Buyer Seller Gaurav Samman ceremony was organized at Vanijya Bhavan in New Delhi on Monday. Rajasthan was given the JAM Excellence Award at the felicitation ceremony. The State was awarded Silver Award for the better work of getting purchase orders for their products from SC/ST entrepreneurs through JAM portal. In the felicitation ceremony, Union Minister for Industries and Commerce Piyush Goyal, and Minister of State for Industries Smt. Anupriya Patel gave the Silver Award to Rajasthan. SS Shah, Additional Director, received the award on behalf of the department.
Expressing happiness on receiving the award, Industries, and Commerce Minister Smt. Shakuntala Rawat said that it is a matter of pride for the state to get this award for the commendable work done on the Government e-Marketplace portal. He said that the department is making continuous efforts to take the industries of Rajasthan to the leading position. He said that this has been possible due to the policies of the state government to encourage industry. He said that according to the intention of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the Industries and Commerce Department is continuously providing a better environment and necessary facilities to the industries in the state and its positive results are coming out.
Expressing happiness on receiving the award, Additional Chief Secretary of Industries and Commerce Department, Smt. Veenu Gupta said that this has been possible due to the dedication and efficiency of all the officers and employees of the department. Commissioner of the department Om Kasera said that it is the priority of the department to develop a better industrial environment in the state and the department is continuously working in this direction. He said that every possible help is being provided by the department to the new entrepreneurs to set up and operate the industry easily in the state as per the industrial policy.
