
Rajasthan’s tourism and hospitality industry is gearing up for two major travel marts in September, with the 6th Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) 2026 and the 1st Marwar Travel Mart (MTM) set to provide fresh opportunities for tourism stakeholders, travel professionals and hospitality businesses across the state.
A Stakeholders’ Meet and Poster Unveil event was organised in Jawai, bringing together prominent representatives from Rajasthan’s tourism and hospitality fraternity. The event marked an important step towards strengthening tourism promotion and creating new business opportunities across the state.
Shri Anand Tripathi, Senior Additional Director, Department of Tourism, Rajasthan, attended the event as the Guest of Honour, while Dr. Ravindra Goswami, Collector and District Magistrate, Pali, joined as the On-Screen Chief Guest.
The gathering was attended by leading representatives of the tourism industry, including Surendra Singh Shahpura, President, Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR); Mahendra Singh Rathore, President, Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO); J.M. Boob, President, Jodhpur Hotel and Restaurant Association (JHARA) and Chairman, MTM; Raghvendra Pratap Singh, Co-Chairman, MTM; Gajraj Singh, President, Travel Agents Association of Jaipur (TAAJ); Gyan Prakash, Vice President, FHTR; Bhupendra Ranawat, President, Hotel Association of Jawai; Rajesh Singhvi, Secretary, JHARA; Tarun Bansal, Secretary General, FHTR; and Tanay Agarwal.
The stakeholders’ meet highlighted the growing importance of domestic tourism in Rajasthan and the need to showcase the state’s diverse destinations, experiences and tourism products to the wider Indian market.
The Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) will bring together Rajasthan’s tourism fraternity and travel trade partners at a common platform in Jaipur. The event is expected to facilitate business-to-business networking, destination promotion and new partnerships between tourism stakeholders.
The newly introduced Marwar Travel Mart (MTM) will focus on showcasing the diverse tourism potential of the Marwar region. From heritage and culture to wildlife, rural experiences, hospitality and emerging destinations, the mart aims to create greater visibility for the region among travel professionals and potential visitors.
The RDTM 2026 will be held from September 17 to 19, 2026, at the B.M. Birla Convention Centre, Jaipur, while the Marwar Travel Mart will take place from September 20 to 22, 2026, at Amritam Palace, Jodhpur.
