The otherwise sunny skies get enveloped with dark clouds and a thin breeze swirls in most parts of the state. It is the time when semi arid plains and hills adorn a lush green cover, making the view all the more spectacular. The rains bring to life various seasonal springs and waterfalls of the Aravali hill range that stretches through the state.

Breathtaking beauty of Rajsamand
Every year the favored season attracts numerous visitors to the state and even though the arrival of foreign tourists was averted for a couple of years due to onset of the COVID but the number of overseas travelers is now back to pre pandemic levels, with that the visitors from neighboring states are expeditiously travelling to Rajasthan for a vacation. The hill sites of Udaipur and Rajsamand districts and areas adjoining the forests of Sariska and Ranthambore have been pulling enthusiastic visitors who are eager for an escapade from their home confinements.

The trend of tourists’ influx is on the rise since the recede in pandemic and infections post the last wave and also with the consistent endeavors of the state government to keep Rajasthan on the top pinnacle as a tourist attracting state.

The monsoon season is a staple time for traditional community gatherings by the local residents of Rajasthan, these gatherings that are known as ‘Goth’ are often celebrated with the native cuisine ‘Dal Baati Chuma’. Thus the season is a palatable time to catch a glimpse into the local traditions and relish the rich food heritage of the state in the amusing weather.
