All-round development of Rajasthan is our goal: Chief Minister

Jaipur, 26 June. Chief Minister  Ashok Gehlot said that the all-round development of Rajasthan is the aim of the state government. Rajasthan is a leading state in taking decisions like setting up inflation relief camps, enacting a law to give the right to health, presenting a separate agriculture budget, and implementing the old pension scheme to give relief to the common man from the ravages of inflation. Effective implementation of the schemes made keeping in mind the upliftment of the deprived sections in the state is being ensured.

Gehlot was addressing the public meeting organized on Monday after visiting the inflation relief camp organized at Thana village of Dungarpur.   Gehlot said that the presence of more women than men in the public meeting indicates the change coming in society. In the schemes of the state government, women have been made the head of the family.

He said that the Vagad region has a rich history. This region has given great freedom fighters and people’s leaders to the country. A memorial is being constructed in memory of the martyrs of the mass movement against British rule under the leadership of Govind Guru. A provision of Rs 100 crore has been made for the development of the holy Beneshwar Dham and Rs 130 crore for the construction of a bridge to reach the Dham.

Dedicated state government for the welfare of the deprived sections-

The Chief Minister said that the state government is working dedicatedly for the welfare of the deprived sections. Good quality and high-yielding seeds are being distributed free of cost to the farmers of the region. The budget of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development Fund has been increased to Rs 500 crore each. He said that a provision has been made by the state government to utilize 100 percent of the budget allocated for the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in all departments. 30 percent additional grant is being given for micro irrigation in tribal areas. Various development and training works are being done under the Community Forest Rights Development Scheme in tribal-dominated areas.

Common people are getting relief from inflation relief camps.

Gehlot said that the common people are getting relief from inflation relief camps being organized across the state. In these camps, the public is getting the benefit of 10 schemes that provide immediate relief from inflation. He said that through inflation relief camps, free electricity up to 100 units to domestic consumers and 2000 units to farmers, and gas cylinders for Rs.500 is being given. People are being given relief by linking them with schemes like a minimum pension of Rs 1000, and insurance of two milch animals under Kamdhenu Pashu Bima Yojana. He said that a provision of Rs 40 thousand per animal has been made for the dead cows due to lumpy disease. Recently, a compensation amount of Rs 175 crore has been DBT deposited in the accounts of cattle herders. So far, 1.7 crore families have joined these camps and more than 7 crore guarantee cards have been issued.

The central government should give social security by enacting a law-

The Chief Minister said that the rights of education, information, food security, and employment were given to the common man by enacting a law by the previous central government. These rights are being further strengthened by the state government through its policies. Social security pension is being given to 1 crore people in the state. The present central government should provide social security to the common people by enacting a law so that they can lead a respectable life.

Announcements made by the Chief Minister-

Gehlot announced to make of Paldeval and Gamdi Ahada here in Panchayat Samiti in view of the demands of the residents and the all-round development of the area. He said that due to the upgradation of the Panchayat Samiti and strengthening of the administrative structure, the development will speed up here and necessary administrative work of the people will also be done nearby. During this, the Chief Minister interacted with the beneficiaries of the relief camps and took feedback from the officials. Also, he distributed checks to the Self Help Groups of Rajivika. The delegation of personnel present there thanked   Gehlot for the old pension scheme.

Water Resources Minister   Mahendra Jit Singh Malviya, Social Worker   Dinesh Khodania, State Scheduled Caste Development and Finance Commission Chairman (State Minister Status) Dr. Shankar Yadav, State Specially Abled Commissioner   Umashankar Sharma, Dungarpur MLA   Ganesh Ghogra, former MP   Raghuveer Meena,   Tarachand Bhagora, former Minister of State   Asrar Ahmed and other public representatives, high officials, and common people were present.
