One lakh people desirous of self- employment will be benefitted: Rawat

In compliance with the announcement of Vishwakarma Kamgar Kalyan Yojana in the budget presented by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for the year 2023-24, preparations have been started for its implementation after the notification of the scheme was issued by the Industries and Commerce Department.
Industries and Commerce Department Minister Shakuntala Rawat said that this scheme has been started in the state for the self-employment of women, workers, and different classes such as handicraftsmen, hair art artisans, and nomadic people. He said that under this scheme, one lakh people would get assistance of Rs. Five Thousand. He said that this scheme will create new opportunities for self-employment in the state. He said that important decisions are being taken continuously by the Chief Minister to promote self-employment in the state and the department is working with commitment and sensitivity to give concrete shape to these decisions on the ground.
This will be the form of the plan Rawat said that under this scheme, the Rajasthan Crafts and Clay Art Board, Rajasthan State Hair Art Board, Rajasthan State Free Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare Board, Rajivika and Office of the Commissioner of Industries and Commerce through handicrafts, hair art workers, clay art artisans, and nomadic class. Modern necessary kits, modern equipment, and sewing machines, for the purpose of starting self-employment to the persons of Rajivika, women of NULM, and selected workers of the labor department.
