Demonstration of EVM and VVPAT being done at 62 centers of the district

The district administration has stepped up its preparations for the upcoming assembly elections. Every possible effort is being made to motivate and make voters aware to vote. Under the awareness program, the electronic voting machines and VVPATs are being demonstrated by the district administration at 62 centers in the district.
Demonstrations of EVMs and VVPATs are being done up to the sub-division and tehsil level of the district including the single window center of the District Collectorate. District Election Officer Prakash Rajpurohit himself is monitoring this campaign of voter awareness and going to the centers to make voters aware as well as motivate them to vote.
Deputy District Election Officer Mrs. Amrita Choudhary told that any person can get complete information about EVM and VVPAT functioning and voting process by reaching the demonstration centers being organized at various places in the district. Along with this, if any person has any kind of problem in his voter ID card or voter list, then he can contact the office of the concerned Electoral Registration Officer.
