Accelerate the works of Escape Reservoir – ACS, water resources

Jaipur, 05 July. In a review meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Water Resources and Indira Gandhi Canal Project Dr. Subodh Agarwal, instructions were given to speed up the works of four escape reservoirs costing one thousand crore rupees being constructed as deposit work of PHED on IGNP. Dr. Aggarwal was reviewing the progress of projects worth more than Rs 50 crore of the Water Resources Department, Indira Gandhi Canal Project, and CAD at the IGNP building on Wednesday.

Dr. Aggarwal inquired about the progress of the Upper High-Level Canal Project Banswara, Kalitir Lift Project Dhaulpur, Khamera Minor Irrigation Project, Gardiya Anicut on Anas River, lining work of various canals, and other projects. He directed to complete the various projects of the department in a time-bound manner while maintaining quality. Dr. Aggarwal said that unnecessary conditions should not be imposed on the projects so that delay in the completion of work can be avoided.

The Additional Chief Secretary was also directed to complete the projects included in the budget announcements of the Chief Minister on time. He was also instructed to prepare and send proposals regarding essential basic needs and staff requirements in various divisions.

Chief Engineer and Additional Secretary Water Resources  Bhuvan Bhaskar, Chief Engineer IGNP  Asim Markandeya, Chief Engineer CAD, and Chief Engineers and Additional Chief Engineers of various zones participated in the review meeting.
