E-auction of 42 royalty contracts from July 12

Jaipur, 5 July. Additional Chief Secretary, Mines and Geology and Industry, Smt. Veenu Gupta has informed that the state government has started the auction process of 42 royalty contracts in 19 districts on the e-platform to recover the revenue payable on minerals coming out of mining leases. Is. He informed that an online auction of 39 royalty blocks will be held on the e-portal of the Government of India on July 12, 13 and 14, and three contracts will be auctioned on August 4. ACS Mines Mrs. Veenu Gupta discussed in detail with Director Mines  Sandesh Nayak and Deputy Secretary Neetu Barupal at the Secretariat on Wednesday about the preparation for the auction of major mining blocks. He informed that the department has started the auction process of 142 minor mineral blocks, while the auction of major mineral blocks is going on. He informed that new blocks are also being prepared for auction by the department.

ACS Mines Smt. Veenu Gupta told that the royalty collection contract (RCC), access royalty collection contract (ERCC), district-level Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT), and state-level mineral to be recovered from the mining leases issued by the Department of Mines Mineral Exploration Trust (RSMET), etc. He informed that the e-auction notice for these contracts with a reserve amount of more than Rs 878 crore has been issued on July 4.

These contracts of RCC, ERCC, DMFT and RSMET recovery are related to revenue collection from mines under the jurisdiction of Mineral Engineers, Assistant Mineral Engineers in various districts. In these mining leases, quarry licenses and permit areas located in Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Sirohi, Nagaur, Bhilwara, Pali, Bharatpur, Jhunjhunu, Jaisalmer, Karauli, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Alwar, Rajsamand, Jhalawar and Baran districts. Relates to recovery of royalty etc. of various minerals.

Smt. Gupta told that the Mines Department, through a transparent system of e-auction, has put up detailed information on the departmental website for the e-auction of 42 royalty contracts of the state, so that beneficiaries from anywhere can participate in this e-auction process. The information on the e-auction has been made available by the government on the online MSTC portal for the auction of minerals.

Mines Director Sandesh Nayak informed that the e-auction of these royalty contracts with a reserve amount of more than Rs 878 crore 50 lahks has been kept on July 12, 13, and 14.

On this occasion, Deputy Secretary Mines Neetu Barupal and Additional Director Mines  Harsh Sawan Sukha also informed about the progress.
