Jaipur, 20 June. Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Dr. C.P. Joshi will go on a study tour to three countries – UK, Scotland and Ireland. Dr. Joshi will be on a study tour to these three countries from June 22 to July 3 on behalf of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA). Principal Secretary of VidhansabhaMahavir Prasad Sharma will also accompany Dr. Joshi on this study tour.
During the study tour, Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Joshi will participate in various meetings to be held with the members of Parliament and officers of these three countries regarding the working of parliamentary and legislatures. Along with this, Dr. Joshi will also participate in the programs organized by the PravasiRajasthanis. Dr. Joshi will also meet officials of High Commissions and Embassies of different countries.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Joshi will leave from Jaipur on June 21 and leave for London from Delhi on June 22, where he will stay till June 25. Dr. Joshi will be in Edinburgh from 26 to 28 June and in Dublin from 29 June to 1 July. The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly is scheduled to return to Delhi on July 3.
