French President Emmanuel Macron will host PM Modi at the Elysee Palace on July 13 for a private dinner. He is also expected to host a state banquet at the Louvre Museum the next day. Sources told that President Macron can also take Modi on a tour of the museum.
Sources said that since PM Modi’s visit coincides with the 25th anniversary of the India-France strategic partnership, and France is a key strategic partner for India, the vision statement will be an opportunity to chart the course for the next 25 years, which will end in 2047. Coincides with the 100th anniversary of India’s independence. According to the port, on July 14, PM Modi will be the guest of honor at the Bastille Day celebrations, and India’s three forces, including the Rafale aircraft of the Indian Air Force, will participate in the parade.
The Bastille Day Parade, which is the main attraction of Bastille Day celebrations, is similar to the Republic Day parade of India. However, it is not common to invite foreign leaders as guests of honor, and the last time a foreign leader was invited was in 2017. When then US President Donald Trump participated in the Bastille Day celebrations. The inclusion of foreign marching contingents and foreign aircraft in the parade is even rarer. So it shows the unbreakable friendship between India and France.
Sources said Modi is scheduled to hold talks with the entire political leadership of France, including Prime Minister Elizabeth Bourne and the presidents of the Senate (upper house) and the National Assembly (lower house).
Sources said, the CEO Forum will focus on business and the economy. This will include big names from the Indian and French sides, who are expected to collaborate closely, not only on bilateral issues but also on what the two countries can do on global issues.
