Jaipur, 26 June. Rajasthan Export Promotion Council, Center for Excellence for conservation and promotion of Blue Pottery, Logistic Park, and industrial development to promote exports from the state in the surrounding area of Jaipur city, to implement the work within the stipulated time frame. Has accelerated. Additional Chief Secretary, Industries Department, Smt. Veenu Gupta took a high-level meeting with officials of District Administration, Jaipur Development Authority, RIICO, Industries, Bureau of Industrial Promotion, and concerned departments on Monday at BIP Auditorium of Udyog Bhavan.
Additional Chief Secretary, Industries Mrs. Veenu Gupta said that Rajasthan Export Promotion Council has been formed to promote exports in the state. Similarly, a Center for Excellence is to be set up for the conservation and promotion of Blue Pottery. He informed me that while the state is increasing its exports progressively, there is immense potential for exports from the state. For this, JDA should provide land on priority to provide REPC facilities around Jaipur city. Similarly, keeping in view the unique identity of Rajasthan’s Blue Pottery in the country and the world, the State Government has decided to set up a Center for Excellence in JDA’s work area for its conservation and promotion. He said that along with the announcement of this budget, it is a work that will play an important role in the industrial development of the state. He said that the Jaipur Development Authority should identify the fixed place for them and inform them as soon as possible so that further action can be started.
Smt. Gupta said that in view of the urgent need to develop better logistics services from the state, space has to be earmarked and made available for the logistics park in the vicinity of Jaipur city. He said that there is immense potential for investment in the logistics sector. To encourage exports from the state, logistic services have to be improved. Logistics services will develop better and standard services in the movement of industrial products. Smt. Gupta directed JDA and district administration to explore the possibilities of road improvement in the Prahladpura industrial area, the water drainage problem near Naveta, Kunjbihari Pura industrial area, and RIICO’s new industrial area near Chaksu.
Commissioner Industries and BIP Om Kasera stressed the implementation of the budget announcement as well as making land available as per requirement from JDA and district administration at the earliest to promote industrial investment. MD RIICO Sudhir Kumar Sharma gave information about the projects related to RIICO. District Collector Jaipur Prakash Rajpurohit said that necessary action is being taken on priority by the district administration.
Additional Director Jaipur Development Authority Anandi Lal Vaishnav assured to identify the Jaipur Development Authority on the basis of the availability of land in the area and inform as soon as possible. He said that road construction work will also be done on priority.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Executive of REPC PR Sharma, Renuraj of BIP, Additional Director of Industry Department PR Ameria, RIICO, BIP, and other concerned departments.
