State’s highest honors and awards in the field of arts were announced today in the meeting of Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Akademi held in Jodhpur. Announcing the awards for the year 2023-24, Academy President Binaka Jesh said that. Akademi’s highest Akademi Ratna award will be given to country’s renowned and senior theater director Mr. Bhanubharti of Udaipur. Whereas for classical music under award in various genres Mrs. Suman Yadav (Jaipur) for classical singing, Mr. Ravi Panwar (Mumbai), Classical Dance Kathak Mrs. Geeta Raghuveer (Jaipur) Light Music Mr. Rafiq Sagar (Bikaner) Folk Music Mrs. Parveen Mirza (Jaipur) and Bhugde Khan Manganiyar (Barmer) Folk Dance Dr. Roop Singh Shekhawat (Jaipur) Puppetry Kheratiram Bhat (Nagaur) Folk Drama Mr. Dilip Bhatt (Jaipur) Theater Acting Theater by Ms. Geeta Bhattacharya (Jodhpur). Directed by Mr. Sabir Khan (Jaipur) Theater. Written by Mr. Ashok Rahi (Jaipur), Academy Award will be given to Mr. Sharad Kumar Tailang, a culture-dharmi of Kota, for theatre-decoration Mr. Radhelal (Jaipur) and overall art practice. Under the Academy Youth Awards, classical singing Mr. Saurabh Vashisht (Jaipur), classical music Mr. Ashish Ragwani (Jodhpur), classical dance Kathak Ms. Charu Sharma (Jaipur) Folk Music Yusuf Khan Mewati (Alwar) Sugam Sangeet Shri Swagat Rathod (Sirohi), Mr. Kaviraj Laik will be awarded for direction and theatre. Among the child talents of the Academy, Mr. Abir Tiwari of Jaipur, Mr. Abir Tiwari of Pakhawaj Vadan, Kathak dance, Tanishka Srivastava (Jaipur) and Mr. Chaitanya Sahal, a child artist of Bikaner, will be awarded in classical singing. Academy Secretary Lakshmi Narayan Bairwa told that under the highest Ratna Samman, one lakh rupees, copper sheet and organ cloth and under the award, each artist is honored with fifty one thousand rupees, copper sheet and organ cloth.
