Rudrabhishek’s preparations are complete – Devasthan Minister

Complete preparations have been made to conduct Rudrabhishek every Monday of the month of Shravan for happiness, prosperity, peace, good rains, and prosperity in the state. Rudrabhishek will be conducted on behalf of the department in all the pagodas and all other major Shiva temples of the state that come under the Devasthan department. Devasthan Department Minister Smt. Shakuntala Rawat gave this information in a press conference organized at Ramchandra ji temple while congratulating them for the month of Shravan and Adhik Maas.
She said that according to the intention of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, all preparations have been completed for organizing the Rudrabhishek program every Monday of Shravan month in Shiva temples under the department. She said that a list has been made of the temples in which this ritual will be held. She said that full help will be provided by the department for Rudrabhishek as per the need in other major Shiva temples of the state. She also told that these events will be organized according to the scriptures and according to the rules and regulations. He said that Rudrabhishek has special significance in the month of Shravan and there will be no shortage of budget for this event. He said that through the department, necessary guidelines have been given for organizing Rudrabhishek programs in important pagodas in other states. He told that a grand event will be organized by the department on Somvati Amavasya in Pratapeshwar temple located in Chandni Chowk, Jaipur. He informed that Rudrabhishek programs will be organized mainly at Temple Rameshwar Ji Amer, Temple Pratapeshwar Ji Chandni Chowk, Temple Rameshwar Ji Purana Ghat, Temple Chandreshwar Ji Sirhadyodhi Bazar in Jaipur.
Minister Smt. Rawat said that keeping in view the importance of Adhik Maas coming in the month of Shravan, special worship will be held in the temples of Lord Vishnu on Kamla Ekadashi on August 12. He said that on this occasion programs of Vishnu Sahastranam, Gopal Sahastranam, Purush Sukta, Sukta, and Kanakdhara recitation will be organized in Lord Vishnu temples.
He said that under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme started by the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, senior citizens of the state are being made to travel by rail and air to visit important pilgrimage sites. He said that the department is continuously working for the development of religious places in the state.
