Rs 9 crore approved for protection of wildlife

Jaipur, 18 June. The state government is committed to the protection of forests and wildlife. Chief Minister  Ashok Gehlot has approved Rs 9 crore for development works for wildlife conservation at three places in the state.

With this amount, development works worth Rs. 2 crores will be done for the conservation of crocodiles in PalighatSawaiMadhopur (National Chambal Crocodile Sanctuary), Rs.

It is noteworthy that Gehlot had announced this regard in the State Budget 2023-24.
