Industry and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore, representing Rajasthan in the three-day Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit-2024, which started from Wednesday in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, and Minister of State for Energy (Independent Charge) Shri Hiralal Nagar, discussed about the energy sector including Tata Power, Adani, Torrent. Met with the heads of leading companies and their top management regarding the vast potential inherent in Rajasthan. Both the ministers said that the geographical conditions of Rajasthan are mainly favorable for renewable energy production. Rajasthan can emerge as a major hub of the country in the field of solar and wind energy. He invited these investors to come to Rajasthan in the field of thermal, solar, wind and hydro energy production and said that the Rajasthan government will provide them every possible support in this direction.
During this, Industry Minister Shri Rathod and Energy Minister Shri Nagar met Adani Group Chairman Shri Gautam Adani, Tata Chemicals MD Shri N Mukundan, Tata Power MD Shri Ashish Khanna, Torrent Power MD Shri Jinal Mehta, Rasna Group Chairman Shri Piruj. Had deep meaningful discussion with entrepreneurs like Khambatta etc. towards industrial development of the state and strengthening the energy sector. During this, the Forest and Environment Department’s Superintendent. Chief Secretary Shri Shikhar Aggarwal and Managing Director of RIICO Shri Sudhir Kumar Sharma were also present.
