FHTR Announces New Office Bearers for 2026–28 Term

Surendra Singh Shahpura has been unanimously elected as the President of the Federation of Hospitality & Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR), marking a significant moment for the state’s tourism and hospitality sector. Expressing his gratitude on the occasion, Shahpura said he feels deeply honoured to have been entrusted with this important responsibility by the members of the Federation.

FHTR Announces New Office Bearers for 2026–28 Term

The Federation of Hospitality & Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) has announced its newly elected executive body for the 2026–28 term. Shri Surendra Singh Shahpura has been elected as the President, while Shri Tarun Kumar Bansal has taken charge as the Secretary General.

The newly constituted executive leadership team includes Mr. Rajendra Singh Pachar as Senior Vice President. Mr. Gyan Prakash and Mr. Mahendra Singh Rathore have been appointed as Vice Presidents. The position of Treasurer will be held by Mr. Rajendra Singh Jodha, and Mr. Hemant Mittal has been named Joint Secretary.

The new team is expected to play a key role in strengthening Rajasthan’s hospitality and tourism sector during its tenure.

He extended his sincere thanks to all members of FHTR for their confidence and support, and also conveyed heartfelt appreciation to his friends, relatives, colleagues, and the wider tourism fraternity for their warm wishes and encouragement. Shahpura emphasized that the collective support of industry stakeholders will play a crucial role in strengthening the Federation’s efforts.

Speaking after his election, Surendra Singh Shahpura reaffirmed his commitment to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to further strengthen Rajasthan’s tourism ecosystem. He stated that under his leadership, the Federation will focus on promoting sustainable tourism, enhancing hospitality standards, and positioning Rajasthan more strongly on the national and international tourism map.

Industry representatives have welcomed his election, expressing confidence that his experience and vision will help address key challenges faced by the hospitality and tourism sector. With Shahpura at the helm, expectations are high that FHTR will play an even more proactive role in supporting tourism growth and taking Rajasthan tourism to new heights.
