Hindu Muslims gathered under the tricolor 256 feet, one end is attached to the temple and the other to the mosque

A commendable initiative of All India Sufi Sajjadanshin Council with Juna Khedapati Temple, Chiraghar Masjid Committee, and Marwar Muslim Education Society, people of both communities took out a unique tricolor yatra on Independence Day

Jodhpur, August 16. The Incredible Hindu-Muslim unity was seen in Jodhpur during the Amrit Festival of Independence. The national flag tricolor joined the Juna Khedapati Temple and Chiraghar Madani Masjid on Chaupasni Road. The people of both communities held the 256 feet long tricolor that came out of the temple by forming a human chain. Seeing this, people automatically joined this unique tricolor yatra and kept moving towards the Madani Masjid, the sawmill on the other side of the road.

Within no time, the end of the tricolor was at the Juna Khedapati temple and the second sawmill at the Madani Masjid. As soon as the tricolor connected the temple-mosque, the chants of Vande Mataram…, Hindustan Zindabad… and Bharat Mata ki Jai… reverberated. People stood respectfully holding the tricolor forming a human chain for a long time. After this, the national anthem was organized, and the tricolor was brought back with respect. This unique event’s purpose was to convey the message that Hindu-Muslim-Sikh-Christian is all one under the tricolor. The event was organized by the All India Sufi Sajjadanshin Council, Juna Khedapati Temple, Chiraghar Masjid Committee, and the Marwar Muslim Education Society.

Earlier, outside the temple, in the presence of Mahant Budragiri Maharaj, Trust President Kamlesh Purohit, Marwar Muslim Education Society Chairman Ateeq Mohammad, Trust officials-workers, Imam and Sadar of the mosque, Council Chairman and Janshin Dewan of Ajmer Dargah Sajjadanshin Dargah Khwaja Garib Nawaz Syed Naseeruddin Chishti addressed outside the temple giving the message of brotherhood. He said that it is our good fortune that we were born in independent India and today we are witnessing this historic moment. Today we have to tell that the tricolor is the strength of our country, the crown of our head, and our identity. He said that we have to stay away from extremist thinking and extremist organizations and come out of closed rooms and work. Those who are enemies of the country and peace have to answer that Hindustan was zindabad… Hindustan zindabad hai, you will not be able to separate us if you try. We are Hindustani, were Hindustani, and will remain Hindustani. We have to awaken this feeling of patriotism among the youth and get involved in the progress of the country.

Earlier, Chairman of All India Sufi Sajjadanashin Council and Jansheen Dewan of Ajmer Dargah Sajjadanashin Dargah Khwaja Garib Nawaz Syed Naseeruddin Chishti Kamala Nehru attended the Independence Day celebrations of the Marwar Muslim Education Society at Nehru Nagar as the chief guest. After hoisting the flag, he distributed certificates to the school children who got the best marks. On this occasion, he said that we have to see how we have given our sacrifices to the people to liberate this country, how many wars we have fought, and how many difficulties we must have faced, then only then we have got this freedom. Children presented many colorful programs and organized parades. During this, the chairman of the society, Atik Mohammad, and other officials were present.

After this, Syed Naseeruddin Chishti also went to visit the college of Marwar Muslim Education Society being built in the Chokha area and saw the progress of various construction work being done there. Then prayed for peace and prosperity in the country by offering prayers at the Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Abdul Latif Shah Baba located in the city. During this, a member of the All India Sufi Sajjadanashin Council and the Sajjadanshin Janab Peer Mohammad Najmul Hassan Sulemani Chishti of the Dargah also stayed with him and saw the various achievements of the Dargah closely. In a press conference held there, he said that people of all religions of the country have faith in the dargah of Khwaja Saheb. He was a Sufi and had come to spread peace and harmony in the country through Sufism. Today we also give the message of peace and harmony in the country through the All India Sufi Sajjadanshin Council. The religious leaders of all religions will have to come forward in this work and remove the unrest and discrimination that is failing in society.
