Instructions given to officers for timely and quality work

Jaipur, 25 June. Chief Minister  Ashok Gehlot is serious about the development works being done in the state. He inspected various under-construction projects while visiting Jaipur city on Sunday.

Gehlot visited the world-class Rajasthan Heritage Museum in the Old Assembly (Sawai Mansingh Town Hall),  Govind Devji Temple, IPD Tower at Sawai Mansingh Hospital, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Governance and Social Sciences and Gandhi Darshan Museum and instructed the officers for timely and quality work. Overview of the works of the Rajasthan Heritage Museum

The Chief Minister visited the old Vidhansabha located at Jaleb Chowk near Badi Chaupar and inspected the works of the world-class Rajasthan Heritage Museum. Here, the Chief Government Secretary of the Art, Literature, Culture, and Archeology Department, Mrs. Gayatri Rathod informed us about the progress of the works through models and maps.   Gehlot also learned about the facilities for tourists in the heritage museum under construction. He gave directions to the officers for timely and quality work.

It is noteworthy that the museum will be equipped with modern technology. Here the specialties of regionalism, painting, sculpture, monuments, art-culture, living, food etc. of each region of Rajasthan are included. Each gallery here will be theme based.

Gehlot said that the work of the museum will be historic. Such works increase tourism and employment and create a good image of the state in the country and the world. The state government has given industry status to tourism, due to which the tourism sector will get a boost.

Visited Jaipur Aaradhya Dev

After reaching  Govind Devji Temple in Jaipur, the Chief Minister offered prayers amidst cheers and prayed for human welfare and prosperity in the state. He also interacted with the devotees and accepted their greetings with folded hands.  Gehlot said that on the lines of the Mahakal of Kashi Vishwanath and Ujjain, a grand corridor and other development works will be done here at a cost of Rs 100 crore. This will provide facilities to the devotees. Its DPR is being prepared and work will start soon. It is noteworthy that   Gehlot had announced the works in the budget 2023-24. Public Health Engineering Minister Dr. Mahesh Joshi was also present here.

Interacted with the workers after inspecting the IPD tower

The Chief Minister inspected the works of 24-story IPD tower under construction at Sawai Mansingh Hospital. Expressing happiness over the progress of the work,  Gehlot said that this tower will play an important role in realizing the concept of Nirogi Rajasthan and in the health services of Rajasthan. Its work will be completed by the month of October-November.

Gehlot said that the state government is committed to expanding health services. Health infrastructure is being strengthened in the state. Rajasthan is becoming number one in the field of health. The construction of the IPD Tower is a historic work. Rajasthan is the only state to have passed the Right to Health Act. Rajasthan has become the leading state in the country in the medical sector with the facility of treatment up to Rs 25 lakh under the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme.

Overview of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Governance and Social Sciences under construction

The Chief Minister inspected the under-construction Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Governance and Social Sciences located at Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg. Here, after observing each block, he inquired about the facilities being developed for the students from the officials. Along with this, Government Jaipur College is under construction and 200-200 capacity boys and girls hostel being constructed under it, hostel is being constructed for Raja Ramdev Poddar Vidyalaya, Dr. Radhakrishnan Library and Learning Center and renovation works of Poddar School. observed.   Gehlot said that the state government is leaving no stone unturned in development works. All the work are going on at a fast pace. Special attention is being paid to the quality of work. The state government is not only making announcements but also implementing them effectively. For this, better financial management is being done by us.

Gandhi’s philosophy is important for the world

The Chief Minister also visited the under-construction Gandhi Darshan Museum in Central Park. He inspected the basement, lower ground, upper ground, prayer room, library, conference room, cafeteria, admin block, central court and ghat, etc. being constructed here and gave instructions for timely and quality work. The work of this project costing about Rs 82 crore is expected to be completed by August 15, 2023.

Gehlot said that this unique center is being built with simplicity. Here people from the country and abroad will come and get acquainted with the values ​​of Mahatma Gandhi. He said that the principles of Mahatma Gandhi have special significance for the whole world. This museum will also become a big center of attraction from the point of view of tourism.

During his visit to Jaipur, the Chief Minister also interacted with businessmen, common people, engineers, and laborers engaged in construction works. During this, Chief Secretary Mrs. Usha Sharma and Additional Chief Secretary, Finance   Akhil Arora along with other senior officers were present.
