Rajasthan Youth Festival from 5th July

Opportunities will be given to enhance the talent of the youth of the state and provide career guidance

Chairman, State Youth Board issued a guideline regarding the Rajasthan Youth Board Festival

Jaipur, 23 June. Rajasthan Youth Board President   Sitaram Lamba said that according to Chief Minister   Ashok Gehlot’s intention and budget announcement towards the youth, to enhance the talents of the youth of the state, to provide them a platform and to promote the lost folk art and culture of the state, Rajasthan Youth organized the festival.

These events will be organized at block, district, and state levels.

Lamba was presiding over the meeting organized with District Collectors and Education Department officials regarding the preparations for the Rajasthan Youth Festival at the Secretariat here on Friday. He informed that this event will be organized at the block level from July 5 to 25, at the district level from July 26 to August 10, and at the state level from August 20 to 22. Through which the work of beautifying the cultural heritage of the state will be done. He directed the officers to coordinate with the government and non-government educational institutions of the area to ensure maximum participation of the participants in the festival and for timely preparations.

Lamba told that along with collective folk singing, folk dance, drama, painting, poetry writing, playing classical instruments, opportunities for career guidance will also be provided to the youth by spreading public welfare schemes of the state government. He told that for this, an amount of Rs. 2 lakh has been sanctioned for organizing the block level and Rs. 5 lakh for the district level by making the education department the nodal department. It is notable that along with men and women, equal opportunities will be given to the third gender to participate in the event.

In the meeting, Government Secretary of the Sports Department   Naresh Kumar Thakral said that participants can apply online till July 03 on the departmental website www.lavanjivantak.tranejind.hva.pad to participate in the event.

Member Secretary of the State Youth Board   Kailash Chand Pahadia and officers associated with the Education Department were virtually present in the meeting.
