Jaipur, 25 June. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial proposal of Rs 8.98 crore for providing newspapers and magazines in 14 thousand 970 Mahatma Gandhi libraries and reading rooms of the state. With the approval of Gehlot, common people will be able to study newspapers and magazines free of cost. With this, students will be able to strengthen their general knowledge and current affairs for competitive examinations and the interest of reading will develop in the general public.
Along with this, readers will be able to connect with Gandhi’s philosophy by studying the available literature and other study material on the life and values of Mahatma Gandhi in the library and reading room. It is worth mentioning that last year also Rs 8.98 crore was sanctioned for Mahatma Gandhi Library and Reading Room.
