Chief Minister reached Sanchore and Abu Road

An aerial survey was done in Biparjoy-affected areas

Jaipur, 20 June. Chief Minister  Ashok Gehlot conducted an aerial survey on Tuesday at Abu Road in Sanchore and Sirohi. After surveying the areas affected by the Biparjoy cyclone, he met the people of the affected areas. The Chief Minister also took feedback from public representatives, officers, and the general public about the loss caused by Biparjoy, listened to the problems related to them, and instructed the officials to solve them immediately.

The Chief Minister took information from the administrative officials about the filling area in the disaster-affected areas, the affected Narmada Canal, and the damaged roads. He said that SDRF, NDRF, Civil Defence, and AapdaMitras have done remarkable work in this calamity and provided relief to the common people.

Gehlot said that in the preliminary assessment, 8700 kutcha houses, and 225 school buildings have been damaged. There has been partial damage in about 35 thousand houses. 8500 electric poles and about 2000 transformers have also been damaged in the state. He told the people that the state government is with them in this crisis. After conducting the survey, compensation will be made available to the victims as per the rules. He directed the officers to repair roads and power supply.

The Chief Minister has appealed to the people of the state to keep their distance from water-logged places due to heavy rains. Children Prevent children from going near water sources and swimming. Also, do not pass through the filled areas on foot or by vehicle.

During this, Disaster Management and Assistance Minister Govind Ram Meghwal, Minister of State for Tribal Regional Development and District InchargeArjun Singh Bamania, Minister of State for LaborSukhramVishnoi, former MLA RatanDevasi, Divisional Commissioner Kailash Chandra Meena, Inspector General of Police Jai Narayan, District Incharge Secretary Ashutosh AT Pednekar, Sanchore Special Officer Mrs. PoojaPartha were present.

Deputy Chief Whip MahendraChaudhary, Sirohi MLA SanyamLodha, Pindwara-Abu MLA SamaramGarasia, Revdar MLA Jagsi Ram, District Collector Dr. BhanwarLal, Superintendent of Police Ms. JayeshthaMaitrayi and other public representatives and senior officers were present on Abu Road.
